Brookhaven Music Scholarship for Merit

The Brookhaven Campus Merit Music Scholarship is available to Brookhaven Campus music students who demonstrate musical excellence in all musical genres. This scholarship is a competitive award based on musical experience and proficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a declared Music major enrolled in Music for the duration of the scholarship that culminates with the awarding of an Associate of Arts degree
• Must be a Dallas College student at the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award.
• Must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 Dallas College credit hours
• Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in all MUSI, MUAP or MUEN course work
• Must submit a curriculum vitae (remove all identifying information from CV to ensure anonymity/fairness)
• Must submit a quality digital video recording of a solo performance.
• Must answer supplemental question below in 250-500 words:

This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
