Brookhaven Theater Department Scholarship for Merit

The Brookhaven Campus Theater Department Merit Scholarship promotes the highest standards in teaching and learning of performance, production, theatre management, technical design and construction theory in an all aspects of theatre instruction available to Brookhaven drama students. The Brookhaven Campus Theater Merit scholarships are competitive, merit awards based on theatrical experience and the potential for subsequent development.

Eligible Criteria

• Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award.
• Must be a declared Drama major enrolled in Drama/Theatre for the duration of the scholarship that culminates with the awarding of an Associate of Arts degree
• Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at Dallas College
• Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in all DRAM course work
• Must submit a resume (remove identifying information from resume to ensure anonymity/fairness)
• Must submit a digital performance via file upload
• Provide Audiovisual and/or Media Samples of audio recordings, videos, or other audiovisual materials
• Must answer the following supplemental questions

This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
