Dallas Association For The Blind Scholarship

The Dallas Association For The Blind Scholarship was established in 2011 to provide assistance for students at Dallas College who are blind or visually impaired.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Must be registered with the Accessibility Services Office as blind or visually impaired
• Must have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours for the period of the award
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial needs. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.
• Must answer the supplemental questions below
• Must include one recommendation from a member of the Accessibility Services office at the Dallas College Campus you are attending.

• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
