Sheri Wilson Holloway Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Sheri Wilson Holloway Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of Sheri Elizabeth Wilson Holloway who was an alumnus of the Brookhaven Campus. Sheri Elizabeth Wilson Holloway completed her freshman and sophomore courses at the Brookhaven Campus prior to transferring to Southern Methodist University to earn her Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1988. She went on to earn a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in 1991. Dr. Holloway worked as a jury consultant in Dallas and West Texas before her death in 2009. The scholarship will provide financial support for the Brookhaven Campus students to pursue and complete their academic studies by providing tuition and textbooks. Scholarship applicants will be considered based on their academic merit and history of academic success.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award
- Must have a degree plan on file with the Brookhaven Campus
- Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the period of the award
- Must answer the supplemental questions below.
This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
