Bryan Hogan Endowed Scholarship
The Bryan Hogan Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of Bryan Christopher Hogan. Bryan was 35 years old and the father of a 6-year-old daughter when he was killed in a head-on collision caused by a DWI driver going the wrong way on a divided highway. Bryan started his college career as a dual credit student taking history at a community college. He continued his studies at a community college and two other universities before receiving his first college degree. Bryan was VP of sales for a healthcare solutions provider with an MBA degree from SMU and a BS degree in Healthcare Management from Texas State University. He had embarked on a successful career path when his life was cut short by an unfortunate accident. Bryan left behind many long-standing friends who miss him, including his brother and a former classmate he met while pursuing his education. It is hoped that this scholarship will help the recipient complete their education and continue to excel in academia and in life.
