Moya Gowing Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Moya Gowing Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of Moya Elizabeth Gowing by her family and friends. Gowing, who was an outstanding academic advisor and adjunct faculty member at the Brookhaven Campus, gave her time and talents by volunteering for many good causes. She taught humanities and loved sharing creative ideas with students of many cultures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours for the period of the award
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must have taken or currently enrolled in a Humanities or Fine Arts course.
- Must answer the supplemental questions
This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
