American Association of Petroleum Geologists Scholarship
The American Association of Petroleum Geologists Scholarship was established by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists to assist students in defraying the costs associated with the following courses: Geographic Exploration Systems, Geoquest Software Introduction, Oracle for Geoscientists, GIS-Arc View Introduction, SeisVision, Synthetics (X-Sections and Log Modeling-GMA Plus LOGM) and SMT 2d/3d PAK. Scholarship is for Fall semester only.
Eligibility Criteria
- Major in Geographic Information Systems
- Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Must be enrolled in one of the designated courses: Geographic Exploration Systems, Oracle for Geoscientists or GIS-Arc View Introduction
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for period of award
