Glenna Montgomery Reames Scholarship

The Glenna Montgomery Reames Scholarship for students with disabilities was established in 2000 to honor Glenna Reames, a long-time employee of the Cedar Valley Campus’ Special Services Department. In overcoming many obstacles associated with her own disability, Glenna continuously demonstrated the determination and courage found in many individuals with disabilities. The scholarship will be awarded to Cedar Valley Campus students with either a physical or learning disability.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must be a student attending the Cedar Valley Campus during the period of the award
  • Must have a documented physical or learning disability.
  • Must be registered with the Accessibility Services Office.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours for the period of the award
  • Must answer the supplemental questions below
  • To qualify for this scholarship you must be enrolled in the required hours by the application deadline.

This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
