Tamara Harrell Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Tamara Harrell Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2008 in memory of Tamara (Tammy) Harrell, a graduate of the Respiratory Care Program at the El Centro Campus. She was a true professional, who worked for over 20 years in a variety of clinical settings. At the time of her death, she was the Coordinator of the Sleep Disorder Program at UT Southwestern University Hospital. Tammy was one of the first registered respiratory therapists in the Dallas area to earn the credential of Registered Polysomnography Technologist. Tammy exemplified lifelong learning and a commitment to education.
