H. Stuart Peake Endowed Scholarship

The H. Stuart Peake Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 by the Metrocrest Medical Foundation in honor of former board member H. Stuart Peake, MD, Radiologist. The scholarship is designated for second year Radiologic Technology/Radiologic Science students at the Brookhaven Campus and is renewable for two years (six consecutive semesters).

Eligibility Criteria

• Major in Radiologic Science
• Must have a minimum Dallas College GPA of 2.75
• Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours for the period of the award
• Must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
• Must be a second-semester Radiologic Technology/Radiologic Science student and enrolled in or completed course RADR 2401.
• Must have performed at least 10 hours of previous volunteer community service. Community service can be with a non-profit organization or any college-related volunteer activity.

This scholarship is awarded for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters for two years (6 semesters). To receive the subsequent semester awards, the recipient must maintain the above eligibility criteria and the recipient requirements listed below. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.

Recipient Requirements

• Must perform at least 10 hours of volunteer community service each semester. Community service can be with a non-profit organization or any college-related volunteer activity.
• Must submit a list of all volunteer hours with contact information at the end of each semester.
