Wilbur Dennis Memorial Scholarship

The Wilbur Dennis Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017 in memory of Wilbur Dennis by his family. Wilbur served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for San Antonio College and then the Eastfield Campus in Mesquite for 20 years. His family and friends cherished his playfulness, competitiveness, dignity, service to others, selflessness, and enthusiasm for life.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS*

• Program of Study: Education
• GPA: 2.0 or higher
• Hours Enrolled: 12 or more credit hours each semester
• Must be attending the Eastfield Campus during the period of the award
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need, as defined by the U.S. Department of Education
