Wilbur Dennis Memorial Scholarship

The Wilbur Dennis Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017, in memory of Wilbur Dennis by his family. Wilbur served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for San Antonio College and then the Eastfield Campus in Mesquite for 20 years. His family and friends cherished his playfulness, competitiveness, dignity, services to others, selflessness and enthusiasm for life.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Major in Education
• Must be a student attending the Eastfield Campus during the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the period of the award
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.

This scholarship is awarded each Fall and Spring semester. You must reapply each semester.
