Valarie and Charles Boesch Scholarship

The Valerie and Charles Boesch Scholarship was established by English professor D’Ann Madewell in honor of her parents. A college education is a life-changing accomplishment, but it is an opportunity that some students cannot easily afford. This scholarship was established to help bridge the gap between a desire for a college education and the rising cost of such an education and can be used for tuition and/or books.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in high school or 2.5 GPA in college
• Must be a student attending the North Lake Campus in good academic standing during the period of the award
• Must have completed no more than 36 college credit hours
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at North Lake Campus for the period of the award
• Scholarship can be renewed if the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st

• Recipient must maintain the above qualifications to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits
