Reece A. Overcash, Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Reece A. Overcash, Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 1995 to pay tribute to Reece A. Overcash, Jr., chief executive of Citigroup who for 20 years led the company with a passion for excellence and commitment to achievement. Under Overcash’s guidance, the Associates recorded two decades of uninterrupted success, growing to become a leading financial services provider until its merger with Citigroup in 2000. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Dallas College Foundation for 18 years. In honor of Overcash’s outstanding leadership and commitment to excellence, this scholarship was created. It encourages students to gain a college education at Dallas College, an institution Overcash believed in and supported through the years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Must be a high school graduate
• Must have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the period of the award

• * RECOMMENDATION REQUIRED*

• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
