Michael Kedron-Professor Swaim Scholarship - School of Business, Hospitality, and Global Trade and the School of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology

The Michael Kedron-Professor Swaim Scholarship was established in 2020 to honor Professor Stephanie Swaim for the tremendous impact she made on the late Michael Alexander Kedron, a North Lake Campus alumnus. To this day, Michael’s spirit extends far to touch the lives of so many yet, it was in life that Professor Swaim’s energy that kept Michael engaged in learning. Professor Swaim educates with integrity and demands excellence from her students. She is that rare educator that goes that extra mile.

Professor Stephanie Swaim is the North Lake Campus Accounting Program Full-time Faculty member. This scholarship is available to students at all campuses with declared majors under the School of Business, Hospitality and Global Trade or School of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Scholarships are open to all students who meet the above criteria, however; preference will be given to students who are not receiving financial aid. We are looking to help students without access to financial aid.
  • Must answer the general application essay questions
  • Major in one of the following:
  • Accounting
  • Accounting Clerk
  • Accounting Assistance
  • Accounting—ATC
  • AC & Refrigeration – Residential
  • Commercial AC & Refrigeration Tech
  • AC/REFRISING HVAC TECHNICIAN
  • Air Cond & Refrig – Residential Technician I Certificate
  • Air Cond. and Refrig-Residential Technician III
  • Construction Mgt – Comm Const Asst Superintendent
  • Construction Mgmt – Residential Const Foreman
  • Construction Technology
  • Construction Technology – Commercial Construction
  • Construction Technology – Residential Construction
  • Rising Electrical Technician Certificate
  • Surveying Technology AAS
  • Construction Tech – Surveying
  • Electrical Construction
