Mesquite Host Lions Club Endowed Scholarship

The Mesquite Host Lions Club Endowed Scholarship was established in 2004 by the Mesquite Host Lions Club to assist students that graduated from the Mesquite Independent School District that are enrolled in a Dallas College certificate program.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Must have graduated with a diploma or GED from a high school in Mesquite.
• Must have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the period of the award
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.

• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
