Wolman and Conroy Family Scholarship

Michael Wolman established the Wolman & Conroy Family Scholarship in 2021. Michael (DeSoto HS class of 1999) completed numerous classes at many of the Dallas College campuses on his way to receiving his MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas. His advanced degree led him to work in numerous fortune 500 companies, establish multiple healthcare and fitness businesses and serve as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the United States Air Force’s largest Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, a job that took him around the globe.

The Scholarship was launched in response to an ever-increasing demand for motivated young people in business and health science career fields that are critical in uplifting and maintaining communities. The hope of the Wolman and Conroy families is that this scholarship will serve as a springboard for aspiring students from DeSoto and the surrounding area in their scholastic endeavors as they go forward as the next generation of leaders. The Scholarship’s creator also hopes that this will serve the community which helped raise and sculpt him and continues to inspire him.
