Furman Milton Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Furman Milton Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2000 in memory of long-time Eastfield Campus employee Dr. Furman Milton, who passed away December 1999. Dr. Milton was a Financial Aid Director and long-time Eastfield Campus employee. This scholarship was established to support students majoring in education.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum Dallas College GPA of 3.0
• Major in Education
• Must be a full-time student attending the Eastfield Campus during the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the period of the award
• Must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial needs. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.
• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
