Jake Ward Memorial Endowed Art Scholarship

The Jake Ward Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2003 in memory of Brookhaven Campus student, Jacob Ronald Ward, by the Adam’s family (Cynthia, Al, Austin, Ashleigh, and Andrea) who were friends of Jake.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a minimum Dallas College GPA of 3.0
• Major in Arts
• Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the period of the award
• Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
• Must be planning a career in the visual arts.

• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
