North Texas Tech Prep Scholarship

The North Texas Tech Prep Scholarship was established in 1996 upon completion of the Project MEET Program within the Dallas College to support junior high and high school students interested in math and science. This scholarship has since been repurposed to support Dallas College students who are majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. This scholarship is for the fall semester only.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have a minimum Dallas College GPA of 2.5
  • Major in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Must be a Dallas College student
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours for the period of the award
  • Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.
  • Must include two recommendations from a Dallas College faculty or staff member, high school teacher or counselor, or a STEM professional or program staff member
