PSSEC Endowed Scholarship for Dallas College employee attending a 4-year University/College

The Professional Support Staff Executive Council (PSSEC) Endowed Scholarship for Dallas College employees was established in 1999 by the DCCCD Professional Support Staff Association. The purpose of the PSSEC Scholarship is to enhance the level of achievement and excellence of Professional Support Staff Association (PSSA) members by providing scholarships to active/paid PSSA members as they pursue their degree-oriented educational goals at a four-year University/College. Please note that this scholarship will be paid out to the college/university you are attending and applied to your account there.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a Dallas College employee
• Must be a Professional Support Staff Association (PSSA) member
• Must be an active/paid member of the local Professional Support Staff Association (PSSA) at the time application is submitted.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Must upload proof of registration at the four-year college/university you are attending.
• Must provide name and email of Rolanda Price; raprice@dallascollege.edu for verification of Dallas College employment and PSSA membership.
• Must answer the supplemental questions –
  What Dallas College campus or location are you currently working at?
  Describe why you are deserving of this scholarship, including a clear statement of academic goals and career plans.
  Have you previously applied for and received a PSSEC Scholarship? If so, when? Include semester/year. If so, did you complete the semester you were awarded for.
  What certificate or degree are you pursuing?
  What department do you work in?
  What is your position classification (full time or part time)?
  What 4-year university/college are you attending?
