Werner Vogeli Endowed Scholarship

The Werner Vogeli Endowed Scholarship was established in 1985 by Jim Goering, former Food Service instructor at the El Centro Campus, in honor of Werner Vogeli, Master Chef of the Dallas City Club. This scholarship supports chef apprentice students in the Food and Hospitality Institute at the El Centro Campus.

Eligibility Criteria

• Major in Food & Hospitality Service.
• Must be a student attending the El Centro Campus during the period of the award.
• Must be accepted into the Chef Apprentice Program at the El Centro Campus.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Must have completed a minimum of 9 credit hours prior to the period of the award.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours for the period of the award.

• Must answer the supplemental questions below.

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the scholarship for subsequent semesters. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
