Bill Neal Scholarship
The Bill Neal Scholarship was established in 2006 to honor Mr. Bill Neal for his 45 years of dedicated service to Dallas College at the Richland Campus, with a nod to geriatric athletics in particular. He has served as a dedicated professor of Physical Education for almost a half-century. He has taught physical education and coached wrestling, baseball, and volleyball. For a quarter of a century, he has been the Director of the Emeritus Program in Physical Education for seniors. A program that has enhanced many lives. It is a program dedicated to improving the health and well-being of senior citizens. Bill is a recognized leader in this area.
Eligibility Criteria
- Major in Physical Education or Kinesiology at the Richland Campus
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the period of the award
- ESSAY REQUIRED
