Computer Science as a Career (CSAC) Scholarship Program

Computer Science As Career (CSAC) Scholars Program was created to enhance computing experiences and pathways for academically talented students with demonstrated financial need.

Our scholarship program welcomes applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. Priority will be given to underrepresented students, first-generation students, low-income students, or those with limited resources. We are dedicated to providing learning opportunities to all students and fostering a welcoming environment for everyone.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Intention to or interest to study and pursue a career in Computer Science
  • Minimum GPA 2.8
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
  • Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the FAFSA
  • Must be enrolled in at least 7 credit hours each semester
  • Must complete the supplemental questions

Recipient Requirements

  • Recipient must participate in CSAC Scholar Program activities 

This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.

Funds will be awarded based upon the eligibility requirements, the students’ unmet need, carried out in compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.
