Juanita Marquez Memorial Scholarship

The Juanita Marquez Memorial Scholarship was established in 2000 to honor the dedication of long-time employee Juanita Marquez for her dedication to students that demonstrate their commitment to student success by tutoring other students at Dallas College.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a student attending the El Centro Campus during the period of the award.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Major in Computer Information Technology or STEM
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the period of the award
• Scholarship is open to everyone; however, preference will be given to minority female applicants so long as such preference does not significantly detract from Dallas College’s nondiscriminatory policies.

• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
