Knickel Family Accounting Endowed Scholarship

The Knickel Family Accounting Endowed Scholarship was established in 2011 by Brookhaven Campus accounting professor Becky Knickel to support students attending the Brookhaven Campus. The donor places a strong emphasis on supporting education and, in particular, education related to accounting. The scholarship is awarded to Brookhaven Campus students who are pursuing a career in accounting.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a student attending the Brookhaven Campus during the period of the award.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must major in Accounting.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the period of the award.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours prior to the period of the award.
  • Must have completed ACCT 2301 Principles of Accounting with a grade of B or better.
  • Must provide a name and email address for a letter of recommendation from an Accounting Professor.
  • Must answer the supplemental questions
  • This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.*
