Sally Goldesberry Endowed Scholarship
The Sally Goldesberry Endowed Scholarship was established to honor the memory of a valued meeting professional who has supported education and the meeting industry. She was a long-term member of the advisory board for the Travel, Exhibition, and Meeting Management program at the Richland Campus. Sally Goldesberry developed future professionals who would be part of the meetings industry.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Major in Hospitality, Expositions, Events, Meetings (HEEM)
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for period of award
RECIPIENT REQUIREMENTS
- Recipient is encouraged to get industry involvement such as MPI, PCMA, IAEE or others as applicable to their specialty.
- Recipient is encouraged to intern at SPE for a minimum of 40 hours.
- Recipient is encouraged by SPE to get global experience and if not a desire to become global in scope.
This scholarship renews for the spring semester. To receive the spring portion, the recipient must maintain the above requirements. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
