Walter L. Pike Endowed Scholarship
The Walter L. Pike Endowed Scholarship was established in 2006 in memory of Dr. Walter Pike, who served as Dallas College’s first vice chancellor of business affairs from 1966 to 1983. Dr. Pike was active in the Texas and National College Business Officers Association. He interned with the National College and University Business Officers in Washington, D.C. during the summer of 1980. This scholarship benefits students majoring in Accounting.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Program of Study: Accounting
- GPA: 3.0 or higher
- U.S. citizen
- Hours Enrolled: 9 or more credit hours each semester
- Hours Completed: 6 or more credit hours prior to award
