Newport Family Presidential Leadership Endowed Award

The Newport Family Presidential Leadership Endowed Award was established in 2017 by the Newport family to recognize and support students enrolled at the North Lake Campus. This award is for students who have demonstrated significant leadership qualities in a variety of areas, including student activities, community relations, and athletics.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Attending the North Lake Campus during the period of the award.
• Enrolled in 12 or more credit hours each semester
• GPA of 2.5
• Completed at least 24 credit hours before the fall semester
• Demonstrate leadership qualities that benefit the North Lake Campus
• Participated in non-academic activities that demonstrated leadership qualities that benefited the North Lake Campus and the community
• Submit a list of all non-academic activities you have participated in and the leadership qualities you demonstrated in these activities.

RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS

• Attending the North Lake Campus during the period of the award.
• Enrolled in 12 or more credit hours each semester
• GPA of 2.5
