Daziah T. Crawford Foundation Journalism & Performing Arts Scholarships
he Daziah T. Crawford Foundation (TDTCF) was established in 2019. It’s in honor of Daziah whose life ended tragically on August 5, 2018. She was a journalism major and a recording artist. Her family and friends wanted to keep her legacy alive and decided a foundation helping students to pursue their dreams is the greatest honor.
With the ongoing support that we’ve received regarding the foundation, we are able to provide scholarships for students nationwide.
The Mission is to enlighten and encourage our youth throughout all communities.
The Vision is to carry out Daziah’s legacy by providing college scholarships and financial support to qualifying students nationwide in the categories of journalism and performing arts.
The Purpose is to provide scholarships to our youth who are pursuing a higher education in journalism and performing arts of study at either a two-year or four-year educational institution. For 2026, The Daziah T. Crawford Foundation will award approximately four (4) scholarships, in the amount of $1,000 per award, based on applicant’s eligibility of qualifications. Each recipient must attend a two-year or four-year educational institution with credits toward Journalism and Performing Arts majors.- Award
