NPHC of Greater Southwest DFW Metroplex Scholarship
The NPHC of Greater SW DFW Metroplex Scholarship was established by the National Panhellenic Council of Greater Southwest DFW Metroplex. Scholarships are open to all students who meet the criteria listed below; however, preference will be given to students of African descent who are pursuing an Associate Degree.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must have a degree plan on file
- Scholarships are open to all students who meet the criteria, however preference will be given to students of African descent so long as such preference does not significantly detract from DCCCD’s nondiscriminatory policies
- Must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at DCCCD prior to period of award
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for period of award

What is the significance of an Associate’s degree?
What are your career aspirations, personal achievements, and leadership experiences?
How will the scholarship funds assist you in achieving your educational goals? - Recipient must attend the awards presentation given by the NPHC of Greater Southwest DFW Metroplex
- Recipient must provide a current headshot photo to be used in publicity materials
- Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
