Eastfield Campus Pleasant Grove Scholarship

The Eastfield College Pleasant Grove Scholarship was established in 2013 to support students attending the EFC Pleasant Grove Campus. This scholarship was set up with help from the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as a community effort to improve the Pleasant Grove neighborhood and create a college-going culture.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an Eastfield College student
• Must be a resident of the Eastfield College service area or live in zip codes 75217 or 75227 or 75253 or the Greater Southeast Dallas neighborhood (Mesquite, Balch Springs, or Seagoville)
• Must include two recommendations from a Dallas College faculty or staff member
• Essay Required

• Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
• Recipient must attend the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Awards Dinner in November.
